Fear of Total Failure

Fear of Total Failure
In this episode, Christie talks about the fear of failure and how it can show up when you’re considering a new goal, changing your habits, making a career move, or going after something you’ve wanted for a long time.
Failure can feel very final. One attempt doesn’t work, and suddenly the conversation becomes, “Maybe I can’t do this.” Christie shares a different way to approach those attempts and why learning what worked, what didn’t work, and making adjustments can be a valuable part of reaching a goal.
You’ll also hear a personal example of how Christie noticed the pressure she was putting on herself to do something perfectly, and what changed when she approached the exact same situation differently.
Fear may still be part of trying something new. The goal isn’t necessarily to get rid of it. It’s learning how to address your fears, set expectations that support you, and continue taking action while your results catch up.
