Ep #52 - A Love Letter
Hello, lovelies
AS I sit here, with my three beverage cups, lol, I’m wondering what you’re up to and know it’s amazing things.
I wanted to share some lovely client celebrations with you while you settle in for the podcast today.
So here are a few: Only lovely shared: Overall I think I'm growing and I could tell that my confidence in myself is getting better as a whole woman.
Another lovely said: I am being honest with myself, my feelings, and telling others. It is surprising to feel relieved when I can explain my feelings to others and not feel a weight.
And she also shared: I feel as though I'm making progress and feeling emotions and releasing them as well as letting other people accept and feel love in my life.
Gosh. so powerful guys. These are just a few of the celebrations happening in session with the lovelies. They’re mindsets are changing from putting out fires, people pleasing, and doubting their abilities to more calm, love, trust, and commitment. So good , can’t wait to share more with you.
OK, soo today’s topic a love letter. Have you ever done this before? Wrote yourself a love letter? I think a lot about what you guys are thinking and where you’re at in your journeys, and a lot of you have shared how you looking more at your emotions, hormones, and mindset to be more yourself, so good. I wanted to share this tool that I use with the Lovelies because it can make some of that work more personal.
When something has a personal, touching impact on you, that moves you to focus on how you want to continue growing. That’s the impact this letter will have.
SO these are the basics of this love letter is to yourself. #1 - There are no rules. There’s no wrong way to do it, but a basic, suggested structure includes acknowledging where you’ve come from, the hard things you’ve done, what it took to get through them, the commitment you had even if you weren’t aware of it at the time, some thanks and appreciation, and an invitation of sorts to what your relationship with yourself will be now… as it continues to grow though this life.
I’ve shared a recent love letter I wrote to myself, my body specifically, and I’m going to share that here today. I had so many lovelies reach out and share that this moved them to look at their relationships with themselves. They saw things they hadn’t before, how much they were beating themselves up and didn’t have to, how that will change now, and how it’s possible to be a friend to themselves. (ahhhh happy tears, ya’ll).
The feedback these lovelies had came from current clients who wrote their letters and lovelies in the community that follow this podcast, emails, and trainings. I just want to shout out all of you and say, beautiful job, lovely. Great job taking that moment for yourself. Only good things can come from it.
So here is my letter,
……
So there you go. I hope this inspires you to write a love letter. Taking a look at the beautiful friendship you’ve been making with yourself already, and how trust, love, and commitment to growing that builds self-esteem as part of your lifestyle, who you are.
I love you all so much. Have a great week.
